It is not easy to plan your day port day in Tenerife because this island has so much to offer! Prague is one of a number of European cities that serve as departure and arrival points for major river cruises, but the ships do not dock there. Passengers meet at designated hotels and are bussed to their embarkation points. However, a number of local Vltava River trips -- some with dinner and music -- originate at the Charles Bridge. It's not unusual to see Austrians, Germans, Russians and Americans following tour guides (with those ubiquitous raised umbrellas) through Prague Castle and the warren of cobblestone streets that make up Old Town. We offer a full snack bar and cash bar with items such as chips, candy and soft drinks. If you bring a small snack to hold you over during the tour that is fine, but we do not allow full meals and we do not allow coolers. No alcohol is permitted to be brought on board because we have liquor licenses on all of our boats.
I suggest you visit the park on a guided shore excursion because the drive through the park itself may take hours. Guided tours usually stop at different points of interest in the park, such as the Roque Cinchado – a 27-meter-high volcanic rock pillar and the most photographed rock formation in the park. The beaches in Tenerife are known for their black volcanic and golden sands and crystal clear turquoise waters.
LAKE GENEVA BOAT TOURS
Another spectacular adventure park is located in the south of the island near the town of Los Cristianos, approximately 77 km/48 miles (a 50-minute drive) southwest of Tenerife cruise port. May through October you will find us at the Riviera Docks in Lake Geneva. Tours run daily, and tickets can be purchased from our ticket boat on the docks or online. This breathtaking beach stretches 1.5 km along the coast and is lined with palm trees and large parking. The beach is man-made and boasts silky golden sands imported from the Sahara desert in Africa. If you plan to go shopping, you can visit the little town of San Andrés located right next to the beach.

The Full Lake Cruise is two hours in length which can be long for young kids. As with all of our tours, there is a live narration so passengers are still asked to be respectful of others who are there to enjoy the narration. We recommend the Best of the Lake Cruise or the Ice Cream Social Cruise for children because of the shorter length of the tour.
